Phil Ivey is having fun, Gigabet is gigacrazy, and everyone else is just along for the ride. Phil Ivey is always the best player at the table. Give him the chip lead and he goes from being the favorite to the prohibitive favorite. As play slowed down for the day, Ivey only picked up more and more speed. He ended the day as chip leader with 1.395m chips...

That's right, Day 3 of the Mirage Poker Showdown is done already. Who doesn't love a half-day? If I could kiss a half day I would, and I'm sure the 18 remaining players would slip some tongue if they could do that too. Not only are they all in the money, but they now have plenty of time to rest and relax before tomorrow's action (where they'll be playing down to the WPT televised final table)...
